Passwords Active is a password generation program which, in all honesty, does nothing more than generate some random characters to use as a password. While the idea is perfect, we don't believe that it really deserves to be a shareware program (it costs $15). We would have rather seen this as one of those freeware programs, but it isn't.
You're given 30 days to test this software, so if you want to change all of your passwords to something that isn't likely to be hacked, give this program a go. Otherwise, try something else in our Password Manager category!
With that said, this tiny application can create passwords using random generators. The passwords it generates are completely random, but you're given the option to allow or disallow usage of certain types of characters. Definitely not worth $15, but the developer might have been more successful in making this donation-ware, in which users could pay whatever they thought the software was worth... alas.
